Hi, I’m Cindy. Thank you for being here.
Living La Vida Bella is my space to share what I’m learning about beauty, wellness, and giving ourselves permission to pause. Before you settle in, I want to be honest with you about a few things. Transparency is part of how I show up here, and you deserve to know what you’re reading and why.
On affiliate links and partnerships
Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. That means if you click through and buy something, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Think of it as a quiet thank you that helps keep the lights on around here.
Living La Vida Bella is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Living La Vida Bella also participates in affiliate programs through Bookshop.org, Impact.com, and other affiliate networks. These partnerships allow me to earn a small commission when you purchase through my links, at no additional cost to you.
Here is my promise to you: I only share products I have personally used, currently use, or would gift to my closest girlfriends. If something doesn’t work for me, you won’t see it linked here. My honest opinion will never be for sale, no matter how shiny the offer is.
When a post contains affiliate links, you’ll see a note at the top reminding you. I want there to be no surprises between us.
On sponsored content and gifted products
From time to time, I may collaborate with brands I genuinely love. If a post is sponsored, gifted, or written in partnership with a brand, I will say so clearly at the top of that post. You will always know.
Even when a brand sends me a product or pays for a post, my opinions remain my own. If I don’t believe in something, I won’t write about it. Period.
On wellness, perimenopause, and the very important fact that I am not your doctor
I write about perimenopause, hormones, mental load, and the messy beautiful season of midlife because I am living it too. What I share here comes from my personal experience, my own research, and conversations with women who get it.
But please hear me clearly: I am not a doctor, a nurse, a therapist, a registered dietitian, or any kind of licensed medical professional. The content on Living La Vida Bella is for informational and inspirational purposes only. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for the care of a qualified healthcare provider who knows your body, your history, and your specific situation.
If you are experiencing symptoms, considering a supplement, starting a new workout, changing your diet, or making any decision that affects your health, please talk to a real, licensed professional. Advocate for the doctor who actually listens. You are worth that.
Never delay seeking medical advice or disregard something your provider has told you because of something you read on this blog.
On beauty, skincare, and your unique skin
I have been a licensed hairstylist and makeup artist for about twenty years, and I love sharing what I have learned. But your skin, your hair, and your hormones are uniquely yours. What works beautifully for me may not work for you, and that is okay.
Always patch test new products. Always read ingredient labels, especially if you have allergies, sensitivities, or a condition like rosacea or eczema. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under the care of a dermatologist, please check with them before trying anything new from this site.
On opinions, accuracy, and being human
Everything you read here reflects my personal opinions and experiences at the time of writing. I do my best to research carefully and link to credible sources, but I am one woman with a laptop and a heart full of things to say. I am not infallible.
Information may change, science may evolve, and I may update older posts as I learn more. If you ever spot something that needs correcting, please reach out. I welcome it.
On links to other websites
Living La Vida Bella may link to outside websites for your reference or convenience. I am not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or opinions of any third party site. Linking to a site does not mean I endorse everything on it.
On your choices
By reading this blog and using the information shared here, you agree that you are responsible for your own decisions and actions. Living La Vida Bella, its author, and anyone associated with it are not liable for any loss, injury, or outcome resulting from the use of information found on this site.
You are a grown, capable woman. Trust yourself, do your own research, and please loop in the professionals when it matters.
If you have questions
If anything here is unclear, or if you want to talk to me directly, you can reach me through the contact page. I read every message.
Thank you for trusting me with a piece of your day. Now go pour yourself something warm and take the pause you have been needing.
With love,
Cindy
